Location: The Center for Active Living Are you due for a trim or buzz? We offer mobile haircut and barber services once a month in partnership with licensed cosmetologist Talia Landau. Haircuts will be offered on a pay-what-you-can scale with all proceeds going to support The Center. Please arrive with clean, dry and unstyled hair, if possible. Location: The Center for Active Living Rainbow Bingo is not your grandma’s Bingo! These entertaining and boisterous events feature drag queens, costumes and Jell-O shots. Hosted by emcee Sylvia O’Stayformore, Rainbow Bingo is a fun night out for an audience that includes people in their 20s to 80s. All proceeds support the Center’s programs. Location: The Center for Active Living Join Nally Michelle for this two-hour somatic workshop that empowers you to live with more aliveness and less pain. We will begin with somatic-based movement and theory, then we will finish with the sensual sound of crystal bowls in a sound bath. The workshop is limited to 30 participants, and a minimum of 15 participants must register. Workshop fee: $60. Props recommended: Yoga mat, blanket(s) and/or pillow(s) for the sound bath portion. |
