This two-part series will take you on a ride through rock and roll history. Part 1 will cover the roots of rock and roll through the beginning of the British band “invasion,” roughly late 1940s through 1964. Topics include blues, rhythm and blues, doo-wop, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Elvis, the Brill Building “girl group” phenomenon, Phil Spector’s “wall of sound’ and the early Beatles. .   RSVP to the front desk in person or at: 206-932-4044.
