The Center for Active Living has a prime location in the West Seattle Junction. Our beautiful mid-century-style building was constructed in 1955. We own the entire two-story building and lease space to the businesses on the lower floor.
Consider hosting your next meeting or event with us! We have several fantastic spaces available for rent by the hour. We rent to individuals, churches, PTAs, nonprofits and small businesses for all types of one-time and ongoing events. All rooms are wheelchair accessible.
Facility rentals provide vital revenue to support our programs.

Hatten Hall & Lions Room
Our largest space is a sunny corner room with two walls of windows and flexible options to meet your needs. A moveable wall offers the option to rent each space separately or as one open space.

Rate: $75/hour
Features: Square tables and chairs for flexible room arrangement, large white board
Margie’s Café

Size: 552 square feet
Rate: $75/hour
Features: 7 round café tables in a comfortable café-like setting, microwave, coffee maker, sink, small refrigerator
Burke Dykes Computer Room

Size: 360 square feet
Rate: $75/hour
Features: 8-10 desktop computer workstations, pull-down screen (A/V facilities included in price)
Technology equipment: We also rent an LCD projector, screen, microphone and speakers for $75 total fee.
Additional rental information:
- Full payment and completed paperwork is required to confirm your reservation.
- Cancellation policy: Your rental fee is 100% refundable if cancelled more than seven days in advance of your event, minus our 10% admin fee. Cancellations within seven days of your event will not be refunded.
- No minimum number of hours is required for your rental.
- All rentals receive one hour of complimentary time to set up and clean up your event. (30 minutes pre- and post-event)
- We do not provide staffing, janitorial or marketing for rental events.
- All garbage must be removed from our facility and disposed of off-site.
