New staff and transitions
We are excited to welcome three new staff members to our team.
Jack Jannack is our new Program Supervisor who will be managing our program team. He has many years of nonprofit experience, including working at food banks and with Sound Generations as a volunteer coordinator.
Our new Volunteer Coordinator is Danny Perez. Danny has 25 years of experience as a trainer and flight attendant, so his ability to connect with people and build relationships will be super helpful in this position.
Our new Stop & Shop Coordinator is Angela Nichols, who comes to us with more than 20 years of experience in retail sales. As the previous owner of Funky Janes and Fuzzy Caterpillars, she brings marketing, scheduling, procurement, customer service and training skills.
And three staff members are making transitions.
Due to back health issues, Tessa Bowden will be moving to an administrative position in our office. We will miss her in the Stop & Shop!
We are also marking two transitions on our program team. Nancy Cossette is moving into a program support role, working part-time from home due to health reasons. Nancy did an amazing job bringing programming back to normal after the pandemic and then growing our offerings to meet our community’s needs. Nancy will help support our plans to soon expand our programs into the late afternoons.
We will miss Mira Fisher, Program Coordinator, as she has decided to pursue her next career opportunity. Mira built many great relationships with our members during her time with us, but she will still be living in the community and stopping by to visit.
