A person with glasses, possibly Anne Stanton, stands in front of a storefront window displaying various items. The window features "Shop for Shops" in bold red letters, suggesting its role as a hub for dedicated thrift store volunteers.

Meet Thrift Store Volunteer: Anne Stanton

Anne Stanton brings a blend of experience and enthusiasm to her role at the Thrift Store. She contributes to a welcoming and organized shopping experience for all customers, and her keen eye also plays a vital role in upholding the store’s security compliance protocols. Anne’s commitment extends beyond the store’s walls—she promotes the store even when she’s not in the shop.

Anne relocated from Maryland to be closer to loved ones and is now a solid part of our West Seattle community. With a foundation in computer science, Anne further enhanced her skillset with an MBA and accounting knowledge. These skills translated into a 20-year career as a blogger specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 software.

Anne’s hobbies in gardening, art and technology showcase a love for creativity and sustainability. Her passion for upcycling fuels an appreciation for the unique stories each donated item at our thrift store holds.
