A vibrant Día de los Muertos altar with decorated sugar skulls, marigold flowers, candles, and photos captures the colorful spirit of this Mexican holiday celebration.

Día de los Muertos

The Day of the Dead is a holiday traditionally celebrated on November 1 and 2 in Mexico and other Latin American countries.

To honor loved ones who have passed, families often create ofrendas (offerings). These altars often contain calaveritas de azúcar (sugar skulls), flor de Muerto (flower of the dead, marigolds), pan de muerto (bread of the dead), photographs and personal items of the departed.
