Aware and Ready Personal Safety Workshop
Thursday, November 12
4:30 – 6 p.m.

The Center for Active Living, Hatten Hall
Free and open to the community, no RSVP needed

Led by Bob Heinemann, a Washington State certified safety instructor with 25+ years of experience, this session covers both the awareness tools and practical physical techniques that people of all ages and abilities can learn and use immediately, in your building, in the parking lot, commuting and in everyday life.

What you’ll leave with:

  • How to recognize and avoid threatening situations before they escalate
  • Practical personal protection techniques – no prior experience required
  • Tools to stay calm, think clearly and act decisively under stress
  • Confidence… not fear, as your foundation for personal safety

This is a supportive environment to learn at your own pace. It is not a martial arts class.
