    In honor of Black History Month, join us for the restored version of Nationtime. It is the only filmed record of the historic 1972 National Black Political Convention, which was a turning point in the struggle for self-determination and equal rights. Convention participants included leaders from across the political spectrum and stars of stage and screen including Coretta Scott King, Bobby Seale, Harry Belafonte, Reverend Jesse Jackson and Betty Shabazz.

    In honor of Women’s History Month, join us for the screening of “The Willmar 8,” directed by actress Lee Grant. In December 1977 in the small town of Willmar, Minn., eight women went on strike over charges of sexual discrimination, unequal pay and unequal opportunities at the Citizens National Bank.
