We love to keep you informed of all the fun programs and activities happening at The Center for Active Living.
Greetings from the Executive Director
It has been an exciting project to bring a new mural to the exterior of our building. Brady Black’s art will showcase the vibrancy and activity that takes place inside The Center for Active Living.
Our new mural will also help change the perception of what happens at The Center. Many people think we are a residential living facility, when in fact, we are a center for daytime and evening activities and a vibrant gathering place for people ages 50+.
A member told us, “It is my life. Almost all my friends are through The Center.” This means so much to me, and I enjoy hearing that people are having such a wonderful time here. I’m also excited to share that we now have 1,367 members!
September is National Senior Center Month, so this is the perfect time to get reconnected and have fun at The Center. We have a great lineup of fall events, including Piano Bar back after summer hiatus on Thursday, September 5, from 7 – 10 p.m. Larry Knapp and his musical guests provide an amazing night of jazz in our own community.
See you here soon!
